Under the guidance of paparazzi hound Diver Hawkes, Karen becomes the mouthpiece for the victims while maintaining a direct line to the killer in question.

Karolina Wydra plays Dianne Kubek, cocktail waitress on the Sunset Strip with an inside track on the drug sales and happenings on the Strip. She has an intense relationship with Jack, and as we’ll soon discover, maybe even some secrets of her own.

Evan Ross plays Diver Hawkes, a street-smart paparazzo specializing in crime scene photography and the owner of LA Notorious – a true crime magazine. Diver believes his job is to expose the darkness that exists all over Hollywood.

ENTERTAINMENT ‘Wicked City’ ABC: Everything We Know About Ed Westwick’s New 2015 TV Show Premiere

There are several new, engaging, riveting and suspense-driven fall shows airing or about to air on numerous networks. Among the sea of new entrants is ABC’s “Wicked City” which is set in 1982 on the sunset strip.

Here’s everything you need to know about it:

1. “Gossip Girl” alum Ed Westwick stars

Remember the lovable, devious, bad boy Chuck Bass from “Gossip Girl”? The actor who portrayed him, Ed Westwick, is on “Wicked City” and he’s playing a serial killer Kent Grainger. If you’ve missed Westwick or Bass, you can still catch them on this new ABC show.

2. Bonnie & Clyde serial killers

Westwick’s Kent isn’t working alone. He meets sociopathic nurse Betty Beaumontaine (played by “Parenthood” star Erika Christensen) while hunting for his next murder victim. The duo team up in a typical Bonnie & Clyde way by hunting and killing young women together in glamorous Los Angeles.

3. Loud ’80s era with sex, drugs and rock & roll

If you’re a fan of the 1980s, with its loud, blasting Billy Idol music, cocaine-infused frolicking and decadent culture, “Wicked City” is definitely worth a watch. The show doesn’t hold back on showing the ’80s era in Hollywood.

Incidentally, the ’80s was also a time when Los Angeles was a serial killer capital of the world. Dead bodies, unsolved murder cases and crime ran rampant in the city.

4. Character-driven anthology format

While “Wicked City” is an anthology format TV show — meaning every season will explore a different crime, killer and place — it’s still going to place a strong emphasis on its characters. Whether it’s Taissa Farmiga’s character Karen McClaren looking for the next big story as a journalist fresh out of grad school or LAPD detective Jack Roth (Jeremy Sisto) who works hard to catch Kent and Betty, this ABC series focuses on the myriad complexities of each character.

5. The plot is inspired by real cases of its time

“Wicked City” is inspired by real cases of the 1980s, although the characters Kent and Betty are entirely fictional in nature.

Ed Westwick is Totally Game For a ‘Gossip Girl’ Reunion With Chace Crawford

Chuck Bass and Nate Archibald back together again?! It could happen — at least, if Ed Westwick has his way.

When E! News caught up with Westwick to talk about his new ABC show, Wicked City, the actor admitted he would totally be game for a mini-Gossip Girl reunion with former co-star Chace Crawford, who also has a new show on the network.

“We should do a crossover episode,” Westwick tells E! News. “It’s great, we’re great friends. They’re all like family to me. I’m very, very happy for [Chace].”

The idea popped into Westwick’s head after he ran into Crawford at the 2015 Summer TCA Press Tour, E! News reports. Like Westwick, Crawford was on hand to promote his own new show, ABC’s Blood and Oil.

It’s been three years since fans said goodbye to the CW hit show about New York’s trendiest Upper East Siders. Looking forward, Westwick also mused on how playing the devious Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl helped prepare him for his new role, an L.A. serial killer, on Wicked City.

“He was a young man who knew how to manipulate people, could be very charming and use that to his advantage a lot,” Westwick says of Bass. “And yet you could say that Kent, my character on Wicked City, is charming and uses that to manipulate people, albeit to a different end.”

So while we hold our breath for Westwick and Crawford’s on-screen reunion, you can catch Westwick as ruthless killer Kent on Wicked City this fall on ABC.

Wicked City premieres October 27 on ABC.

Leighton Meester & Adam Brody Welcome Baby — Congrats

leighton-meester-adam-brody-baby-congrats-gty-leadAlready posted this on twitter, but needs to be on the homepage too!

Blair Waldorf is officially a mother! Leighton Meester and her hubby Adam Brody have welcomed their first child together. Step aside Blake Lively, it looks like there is another ‘Gossip Girl’ baby now. Congrats!
Leighton Meester, 29, and Adam Brody, 35, have just added a new addition into their family. The happy couple welcomed their first child together — so exciting. It seems like yesterday we were watching them endure those pesky teenage years, on TV that is!

That bump has popped! Leighton and her hubby are proud parents of a newborn baby. Their precious bundle of joy was born last week, a source tells Us Weekly.

The former ‘Gossip Girl’ star and her man have yet to divulge any details surrounding the birth, but we can’t wait to hear if their newborn is a boy or girl! Their reps have yet to respond to a request for comment.

Although the couple kept the pregnancy hidden, the news broke on May 18 when pictures surface of the pair out for lunch in Los Angeles and Leighton was clearly showing off what looked like a baby bump. Her growing belly was on full display in a tight gray t-shirt with a plaid shirt over the top of the tank.

Leighton’s Priorities Have Changed
Although the couple is super private when it comes to their personal life, Leighton previously revealed in an interview with InStyle U.K. that her priorities have changed ever since tying the knot. “My values have shifted greatly in terms of what I find important,” she told the outlet. “It’s my family, my friends and having a personal life. Those are the things that need nurturing.”

‘Wicked City’ Cast Says ABC Serial Killer Show Will Push Boundaries Of Network TV

The cast of the upcoming ABC anthology series “Wicked City” sat down recently to talk a bit about the show. Jeremy Sisto revealed that the series, which is about a Bonnie and Clyde-esque duo of serial killers in the 1980s, will include some “dark stuff” that will definitely push the boundaries of what’s allowed on network television.

Sisto added that the killer duo operates in a place (Los Angeles Sunset Strip 1982) that is “infamous for its glam but also for its dark underbelly.”

Erika Christensen also pointed out that the characters live in “such an over-sexualized society, so we want to kind of bring it back and put things in context, like, this is crazy, remember? I think the fact that it’s on ABC actually helps that. It kind of puts it back in context.”

The show follows Kent (Ed Westwick), a man who lures young women to their deaths, and Betty (Christensen), a nurse and mother of two children.

Their paths cross one night, and although Kent plans on making Betty his next victim, he decides against it when he realizes she’s a mom. They form a twisted sexual bond that leads to her becoming his partner in crime.

Detective Jack Roth (Sisto) investigates the countless murders going on in L.A. Entertainment Weekly revealed that Roth’s wife, Liz, will be played by Jaime Ray Newman.

Liz notices her husband’s preoccupation with the case and worries that he will stray again with Detective Dianne Garrett or someone else.

The plot also involves a young wannabe journalist named Karen McClaren (Taissa Farmiga), who saw one of Kent’s victims the night she died. Has Karen finally found the big story that can jumpstart her career?

“Wicked City” premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
